Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect the minimal data needed to manage subscriptions and unlock paid features. If you choose to create an account, we also collect your email address, and nothing else. We never collect your name or any other personal identifying information.

Your account (optional)

You can use centered space without an account. If you create one, all we store is your email address and a random account ID, kept on our infrastructure (Cloudflare). Your email is used for exactly two things: sending you a sign-in code, and restoring your purchase if you change devices. If you have an account, we also save which built-in tools you've favorited and your chosen go-to tool, so they follow you to a new device, but nothing you write or create (cards, phrases, photos, journal) is ever stored on our servers; that stays only on your device. Sign-in codes are delivered by our email provider (Resend) and are never stored in readable form. We don't sell your email, and we won't send you marketing without your consent. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → account) or at centeredspace.co/delete-account, deletion removes your email from our records.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in centered space (coping cards, affirmations, photos, journal entries, and personal settings) is stored locally on your device only. None of this data is sent to our servers or any third party.

Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data, for example, which tools are opened and how long they're used, so we can see what's helpful and improve the app. This is tied only to a random, anonymous identifier, never to your name, email, or account, and your IP address is discarded. We do not record your screen, show ads, or track you across other apps, and the personal content you create in the app is never included. Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat (see below).

Camera & Photos

The app may request access to your camera or photo library for certain tools (e.g. Redirect). These images are stored on your device only and never transmitted.

Subscriptions & Purchases

Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store, and your payment is processed entirely by Apple, we never see or store your card details. We use RevenueCat to verify and manage your subscription status, so paid features unlock and purchases can be restored. RevenueCat keeps a record of your purchase linked only to a random ID, never your name or email, even if you create an account, and it is not used to track you across other apps. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.

Children

centered space is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
